Laptop wont connect to monitor

Anon Jan 23, 2018 02:04PM CST

Laptop doesn't connect with my RL2455 monitor. The monitor works with the Xbox just fine. I know that my laptop (which is a DELL) can connect to another monitor and to the TV. Laptop only has 1 HDMI port and nothing else except USB ports and such. I tried my PC and it worked just fine with the monitor, I'm guessing its because I used D-Sub. All of the drivers have been updated. I've tried numerous online fixes and different HDMI cables but none seem to work. help???

Hello Anon,

Are you changing the input on the monitor when you move from XBOX to PC? You can also try going into the monitor menu under System>HDMI Auto Switch and turn it on.

This will automatically switch to HDMI when a live signal in plugged in.

Thanks
