So just so I understand the calibration options with the SW2700PT monitor - to truly benefit from this monitor, it's best to use the Palette Master vs any third party calibration, correct?
I was confusing myself in thinking I would run my own calibration (i.e., datacolor) to calibrate then use the Palette Master only to embed into the hardware. TIA.
In order to utilize the option to have a ICC profile embedded into the monitor (OSD menu – picture mode) one would need to use the Palette Master software.
You can use the 3rd party software to calibrate the monitor though. You just would not have access to the OSD feature that Palette Master and this monitor provide.
