I'm looking into buying a BL2420PT but I stumbled upon a "warranty and copyright information" document hosted by amazon and appears to contain details about the factory warranty from BenQ. This document contains the following:
The above warranty shall be void if the customer fails to operate the product in accordance with BenQ's written instructions, especially the ambient humidity must be in between 10% and 90%, temperature in between 0°C and 35°C, altitude lower than 4920 feet, and avoiding to operate the projector in a dusty environment.
I live at an altitude above 4920 feet. Does this mean that if I were to purchase a BenQ monitor, the warranty would be void as soon as I turned that monitor on?
This looks like the info for projectors, the monitor will work just fine at that altitude and will not void the warranty.
