G70 LCD monitor now working with mac book pro

M Townend Dec 13, 2017 04:11PM CST

I have a 2016 mac book pro and have brought the Benq G70 monitor to use as an additional monitor, conecting the two via HDMI cable but nothing displays on the monitor. I've tried power cycling the monitor with no results. Are the two just not compatible?

Hello,

Our monitors are compatible with the mac book pro. Please make sure the monitor is set to input HDMI.

Are you connecting with an adapter or docking station of some kind? Are both monitors connected directly to the laptop.

Is the monitor you have the GW2270?

Thanks
