Suggested working space in Adobe Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC 2018 with my PD3200U which is sRGB

Richard Houghton Nov 07, 2017 10:34AM CST

The monitor is advertised as sRGB only. In Lightroom and Photoshop, I can specify which color space to use as my working space. Now, it is Prophoto RGB. I am a Semi-Pro but all my printing is done in sRGB color space. Should I change my camera to default capture in sRGB, my Adobe products working space in sRGB or what? I just want true colors and don't want to have a color variance or banding. What is your advice?

If you are printing in sRGB, then you’ll get better, more consistent results by using the same color space across all devices, so I’d just run sRGB on everything. This will get you “what you see is what you get” with the least amount of frustration.
