basically the subject says it. I plugged it very very tightly. when its unplugged it says "no cable detected" but when i plug it it says "no signal detected" so obviously the monitor detected the cable. I plugged another HDMI cable and it worked and i cant find the displayport in the device manager. I got the plug when i bought the monitor.
If you unplug the cable while the monitor is on it might have an issue depending on EDID file send timing. If the EDID becomes corrupt it won’t read the cable.
You can simply pull the power out of the monitor and plug it back in. This will reissue.
If you are still having an issue then we can take a look at the input board on the monitor.
