about 4 months ago I received the Xl2411z from BenQ through Amazon.
I then Installed disk drivers and expected to be able to play at 120-144hz,
however to my dismay the screen SEEMED to show 144hz by how smooth it was with mouse movements, it was just the issue of major screen tearing, and some discoloration.
After I saw this I minimized the window only to see a black screen for 3 seconds, and then the screen's pixel resolution dropped down to 1024x768 widescreen. A message in the bottom right also popped up telling me to use the correct dvi cable that came with the box, which is what I am doing. So I read around and realized maybe the dual dvi cable is faulty, so I ordered 2 extras from cable matters
Neither worked and had the same affect as the original.
I'm positive my graphics card (gtx 970 4 gb) works with the monitor (unless damaged but it works flawlessly) so I'm out of ideas on what I can do to fix my issue.
I also took some imgur pics on my phone displaying my issue ( 1024x768 doesn't show)
p.s. I know I should've made this sooner but I for some reason thought the issue would go away on its own, but it is still here sadly.
Thanks ahead :)
Sorry to hear about that! Do you happen to know which exact GTX 970 you have? And are any adapters being used?
Have you tried both of the DVI ports on the card? One will support 144Hz, and one won’t.
