GP3 projector hdmi problem

Anton Aug 05, 2017 06:20AM CDT

Hi.
My problem is, that if I connect projector GP3 to HDMI , for native resolution 1280x800 I have no signal. If I change resolution to another in PC settings in default settings or on nvidia control panel or on ubuntu, I have picture, but its bad quality, and is running from down to up. From another source like set top box or xbox I have no signal, I try to change from rgb to another, picture still running colour was more naturaly but picture unclear with artefacts. I change the hdmi cable, but the same. I have reduction HDMI to mini HDMI, perhaps it is corrupted.
Have you any idea, what should be the problem?
Thanks for answers.

Hello Anton,

It sounds like a resolution problem. I would also check that the adapter doesn’t have any resolution limitations. I have seen that before.

The Native aspect ratio is 16:10 (5 aspect ratio selectable)‎

Check that the set top box or the xbox resolution is supported by the GP3. Most likely they are set to 1920×1080p or 1024×768p or even 720p
