Out of range

I have a XL2720 and frequently get "Out of range" and a black screen. I usually have to power cycle the monitor, or change the rate to 60hz and back to 144 to get picture. This is very annoying, is there any way to fix it? (all my drivers are up to date)

Hello Chris,

Sorry to hear about the out of range issue. When that message comes up it usually means that the resolution is not supported.

Are you running multiple monitors?

Is there a pattern to the problem? Such as you run a certain game when it happens? Triggers when computer goes into sleep mode?

Hello,

It does sound like a driver issue, that is how a driver issue becomes recognized when you go back to a older version and fixes the issue. New drivers although meant to fix issues can create new issues.
