Screen tearing everywhere

Vincent Desrosiers Jul 19, 2015 09:28PM CDT

It started about a week ago. My BenQ screen started to show tearing everywhere. Even on the desktop with no game started. I tried to change the settings in Nvidia Panel, Windows settings and on the display itself. I reset the settings of the screen and I even try an other cable. It keep tearing like I don't have vsync enabled but on the desktop.

I know it's not my hardware because I tried multiple cable and port with different screen and everything work fine for my other screens.

The screen is still in warranty and I used it normally.

What can I do to fix the problem?

Hi Vincent,

Could you let us know what is the refresh rate set on this monitor? also, what is the resolution that it is currently set to?

Thanks!

Hrmmm…sounds like it may be an odd internal fault on the monitor. Give us a call at 866.600.2367 so we can set up an RMA.
