XL2411Z not staying on 144hz via Displayport

Kai Jul 12, 2018 03:06PM CDT

Im having ab bit of a problem here.
I just bought a Benq XL2411Z and plugged the displayport cable into my 1070 ti but all I get is 60hz. When I change the settings in windows it stays on 60hz and when I go to nvidia control panel and select PC connection with 1920@144hz it will switch back to UltraHD HD settings with just 60hz..

Anything I can do to keep it at 144hz?

Thanks in advance

Hello Kai,

Sorry to hear about the connection issues you are having. The XL2411Z has a DVI-DL connection for 144hz. This would be the solution.

Do you have a DP to HDMI cable connected? That cable will only receive 60Hz as the connection is HDMI 1.4 on the monitor side.

Hope this clears things up.

Hey Tim or any agent where can I get a DVI-DL connection to a Display Port connection. I have the RTX2070 and it doesn't have a DVI port on the card. If there is such a cable will I get 144hz?

Hello Daniel,

The link below will take you to a DVI-DL to Display Port cable.

Thank You,
