PD3200U monitor flickering issue

I just bought a new BenQ PD3200U monitor and have noticed an issue with random flickering (screen will go black and turn back on, lasting a second or two). I have a relatively new computer with a brand new video card (GTX 1080 TI) and it is connected via DisplayPort. I have two other monitors connected via DisplayPort (both Dell) and neither has this issue at all; only the BenQ. The connection is secure and I have double-checked everything. The video card drivers are all updated, as well, as is Windows 10.

I have heard this is an issue with this particular model and the issue was reported by on their review of the monitor. They had the same issue using DisplayPort, even with a newer video card. So, it appears to be a known issue.

The problem occurs maybe 5-6 times a day, but it's still very annoying when trying to do work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's a beautiful monitor and I really don't want to send it back due to this issue. It's just quite annoying and I'm worried it will get worse.

Please try different cables if possible and also a different port or source device and see if the issue does continue.
