W600+ White Dots

Rich Oct 30, 2017 08:09PM CDT

This projector was manufactured in 2010 so I assume is out of warranty. I am having the white dot problem that is quickly taking over the whole screen - online research tells me it is the DMD or DLP chip gone bad and, although not a simple DIY fix, worth doing at home as sending it in for repair will cost the same or more as a new projector. What is the correct replacement part for this model? Thx!

Hi Rich,

It is DLP Chip 1272-6038B / 1272-6138B

We have these available for ~$234 for the part. Just let me know if you need me to help get that for you.
