GW2480 blinking distortion at bottom

Greg Oct 17, 2017 11:54PM CDT

I have a GW2480 connected via DVI cable.

Every 4 seconds, I get a band of distortiopn at the bottom of the monitor (across entire width) about an inch high. The distortion lasts 4 seconds. So, it's a cycle of 4 seconds of normal screen followed by 4 seconds of distortion.

I am using the latest drivers and the monitor is set to 60 hertz.

Both ends of the cable are secure.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Hello Greg,

Can you try setting your Hz rate to 59Hz it it allows you? Please let us know the results.

If that doesn’t fix it then we would need to take a look at the panel at our repair facility.

Your Case ID is 97926
