I've had this monitor for several days. I'm very pleased with it and the ECO sensor worked well until now. Now it turns the monitor off when it is in use. I sit approximately 65cm away. I noticed that in a review on the B & H site a user had this trouble as well so it seems to be a common failing.
Are there any fixes? I don't really want to turn the feature off for it provides useful savings both in terms of power and monitor life - well I hope so!

Hello Donald,

The ECO sensor is located at the front bottom of the monitor. Check if there are any obstacles in front of the sensor that keep the sensor from detecting your presence properly.

- Please check if you have removed the sensor protection sticker. It is a clear plastic.

- The colors and the materials of your clothes may affect the detection. Adjust the sensor range if needed. See Sensor Range on page 49 of the user manual.

- Adjust the distance between you and the monitor.

- If none of the proceeding actions work, it is probably because the materials of your sclothes are unique and cannot be detacted by the ECO sensor.
