We have two MS524A projectors at our church, one for front projection and one for rear projection. The rear projector is attached to the MONITOR OUT port of the front projector with the expectation that whatever source is being displayed up front will show on the rear projector. This works fine as long as the source is SVGA 1, however when we change the source on the front projector to SVGA 2, the image at the back continues to show what is coming out of SVGA 1.
I called support and the support person told me that this is by design on that model projector. I need to know if BenQ has ANY model projector that will actually output whatever the active source is through the MONITOR OUT port? I know this *can* be done because we previously used an older NEC projector for our front projector and it output whatever the active source was.
On that model, only the Computer 1 input is passed through to the monitor out. A simple VESA certified signal splitter might do the trick.
